A leading law firm is seeking an
Associate Employment Solicitor to join its highly regarded employment team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a broad range of contentious and non-contentious employment matters, advising a diverse client base on complex legal issues.
The Role: - Advise and represent clients in employment tribunals, handling Directions Hearings, Preliminary Hearings, and case preparation.
- Draft key legal documents, including claims, responses, witness statements, and skeleton arguments.
- Provide corporate support, advising on TUPE transfers, due diligence reports, and indemnities/warranties.
- Draft and review employment contracts, policies, and procedures.
- Guide clients through disciplinary and grievance procedures, redundancy processes, and family-related rights.
- Play an active role in business development, including delivering seminars, drafting training programmes, and contributing to Employment Bulletins.
Ideal Candidate: - A qualified solicitor with experience in employment law.
- Strong advocacy and drafting skills, with a commercial and client-focused approach.
- The ability to manage both contentious and non-contentious employment matters.
- A proactive team player with a keen interest in business development and knowledge sharing.
