My client is a well respected firm that is looking to grow now and strengthen their Private Client team. 

The firm attracts a good mix of work including a lot of very good quality high net worth matters.
 
You'll also be required to drive growth and oversee the work of your team whilst having your own manageable caseload of Private Client matters.

Typical matters responsibilities understandably include :

o Wills and estate planning
o Inheritance tax planning
o Trusts
o Probate and estate administration
o Lasting Powers of Attorney
o Court of Protection matters
• Acting as a key contact for high-net-worth clients and families
• Providing technical guidance and support to the property teams on private client
related matters, such as trusts, inheritance tax implications, and complex ownership
structures
• Business development, networking, and building relationships with accountants,
IFAs, and other professional advisors
• Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and maintaining the firm’s high
standards of client care
• Supporting junior members of the team and assisting with their development
What we are Looking For:
• A qualified lawyer with at least 8+ years’ PQE in private client work
• STEP qualified (or working towards full membership) preferred
• Proven experience handling complex estates, trusts, and tax planning
• Leadership and team management experience
• Strong business development skills with a track record of attracting and retaining
clients
