Commercial and Data Associate

Greater London – £65,000 - £75,000

A leading Legal 500 national firm, is expanding its highly regarded Commercial IT and Data team. The firm are seeking Senior Associates with expertise in IT, Data, contract law, and procurement law. This is a unique opportunity to join a firm renowned for its impactful work with public sector clients, offering a chance to shape high-profile, complex projects while making a significant impact in the legal landscape.

Responsibilities
  • Advise clients across public, private, and third sectors on procurement, outsourcing, and commercial contracts.
  • Work on complex projects including government contracts, managed IT services, and various services contracts.
  • Lead casework and mentor junior colleagues, offering expertise and guidance.
  • Collaborate with clients to develop innovative solutions for procurement and commercial contract challenges.
  • Participate in business development activities such as writing articles, speaking at conferences, and client engagement.
Skills and Experience Desired:
  • Qualified solicitor (or equivalent) with experience in Commercial IT and Data with at least 4 Years of PQE.
  • Strong contract law and procurement law background.
  • Ability to lead negotiations and contribute to firm growth.
  • A proactive, client-focused approach.
