Exciting Opportunity for an Associate – Occupational Disease Team (Birmingham)My client is a national law firm and is looking to expand their Occupational Disease team by bringing in an Associate to work on a caseload of high value Asbestos related claims. No prior Asbestos experience is needed for this role.
Role Overview:
- Salary: £60k DOE + Bonus
- Location: Hybrid – 1 to 2 days in the office per week

- Manage a varied caseload, focusing on high-value, complex asbestos-related claims
- Supervise and mentor junior members of the team
- Work closely with a Legal 500-ranked Partner, bringing in high quality work and career progression opportunities
- 3-6 years PQE with experience in Disease cases (claimant or defendant)
- A desire to transition into claimant asbestos-related work – no prior asbestos experience required
