Overview: A well-established law firm, with a strong presence in Merseyside and Wirral, is seeking a talented and experienced Residential Conveyancer to join their Property Team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with over 5 years' experience in residential conveyancing who is ready to take on a varied caseload, including sales and purchases, mortgages and remortgages, transfers of equity, and first registrations. The role offers both full-time and part-time flexibility, with a focus on delivering high-quality service to clients in a supportive, team-oriented environment.
Role and Responsibilities: The ideal candidate will be confident in managing both Freehold and Leasehold Residential Conveyancing matters, ensuring smooth progress from initial instruction through to post-completion. Key duties include:
- Taking instructions from clients and managing expectations throughout the transaction process
- Preparing and drafting documents, including contracts, letters, and completion statements
- Reviewing mortgage offers, leases, and searches, providing timely advice to clients
- Undertaking due diligence investigations, ensuring compliance with AML and source of funds/wealth requirements
- Overseeing the full transaction process, ensuring completion deadlines are met
- Managing time effectively, accurately recording time spent on matters, and meeting financial and time recording targets
- Attending networking events, contributing to business development initiatives, and assisting with marketing efforts, such as writing blogs or articles
- Participating in team development and training activities
The firm is looking for a candidate who excels under pressure, demonstrates excellent time management, and has a client-focused approach. A caring and empathetic attitude is essential, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with both clients and colleagues.
