A highly regarded and expanding civil litigation team is seeking a Solicitor to join its supportive and dynamic environment. This role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse and challenging caseload, representing independent business owners, retail tenants, major property developers, and private clients across both commercial and residential sectors.
The Role:

• Handling a varied caseload, including landlord and tenant disputes, real property litigation, and contractual disagreements, with supervision as needed.
• Delivering clear and strategic legal advice on a range of property-related disputes.
• Drafting and preparing legal correspondence, court submissions, and supporting documents.
• Collaborating with courts, barristers, expert witnesses, and external professionals, instructing counsel when required.
• Representing clients in court hearings, mediations, and settlement negotiations.
• Assisting in the mentorship and development of junior colleagues, including trainees, paralegals, and support staff.
• Contributing to business development efforts, helping to enhance the firm’s growing reputation in property litigation.

What We’re Looking For:

• NQ – 2 years PQE with experience in civil litigation.
• Confidence in managing a caseload independently while working collaboratively within a team.
• Strong technical expertise in landlord and tenant law, real property disputes, and general commercial litigation.
• Excellent organisation and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
• A meticulous approach, ensuring high-quality legal work and attention to detail.
• Strong client communication and relationship management skills.
• Proficiency in IT and case management systems.
• A proactive and ambitious mindset, with a desire to help develop the firm’s property litigation practice through networking and business development.
