Are you passionate about advocating for children and families in public law cases? A well-respected law firm is looking for a dedicated Family Solicitor to join its Public Law team, with full support to obtain Children Panel Accreditation if not already held.

The Role:

• Providing sensitive and practical legal advice on all matters involving children.
• Negotiating residence and contact arrangements, ensuring the best outcomes for families.
• Advising on shared parental responsibility and joint residence agreements.
• Supporting grandparents and extended family members with contact applications.
• Referring clients to mediation where appropriate to resolve disputes amicably.
• Representing clients in public law proceedings, including care proceedings and child protection cases.
• Delivering exceptional client care, guiding individuals through complex legal processes with compassion and expertise.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience in family law, particularly cases involving children.
• Strong understanding of public law proceedings and the ability to handle complex cases.
• A commitment to achieving the best outcomes for clients, particularly in court proceedings.
• Excellent negotiation and advocacy skills, with the ability to handle sensitive cases effectively.
• A common-sense approach combined with strong empathy and professionalism.
• Willingness to work towards Children Panel Accreditation, with full support provided.
