Your Role & Responsibilities
As a Childcare Solicitor, you will:
�� Independently manage a caseload of complex childcare-related matters (family law is handled separately)
�� Provide expert legal advice and skilled representation in childcare proceedings, including:
- Parental Responsibility Orders
- Contact Orders
- Interim Care and Supervision Orders
�� Advise on key areas such as: - Public Law Outline (PLO) meetings with authorities
- Child Protection issues and safeguarding
- Section 20 accommodation in foster care
- Children’s services involvement and assessments
�� Collaborate with additional specialists to ensure the best outcomes for clients
✔️ Qualified Solicitor with at least 4 years’ experience in childcare law
✔️ Strong ability to manage your own caseload and conduct advocacy
✔️ Proficiency in all stages of childcare proceedings, including PLOs and child protection matters
✔️ A passion for advocating for children and their families during challenging times
