Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert corporate immigration advice to clients in the UK and overseas, addressing a variety of business immigration matters.
- Deliver complex immigration advice, including advising on corporate transactions, conducting compliance audits, managing sponsor license applications, and defending clients against civil penalty notices.
- Supervise team members on day-to-day immigration matters, such as right-to-work compliance, business visitor visas, and global mobility visa applications.
- Undertake contentious immigration work, as well as deliver engaging client training and speak at events on immigration-related topics.
- Build lasting client relationships through exceptional communication and service delivery.
- Work collaboratively with a tight-knit, friendly team committed to excellence and professional development.
Preferred Requirements:
- 5+ years of post-qualified experience (PQE) as a solicitor in Scotland, with a strong background in both personal and corporate immigration law.
- A proven ability to manage a full immigration caseload, including complex cases, gained from a large regional or city firm.
- Extensive knowledge of global mobility visas, sponsor license compliance, and contentious immigration matters.
- Demonstrated skills in business development, with the drive to build the firm’s reputation and client base.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, along with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
