Housing Paralegal

London – £25,000 - £27,000

My client is a Legal 500, award winning law firm currently seeking a Housing Paralegal to join their dynamic and growing team in East Dulwich.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Delivering exceptional client care in managing client matters.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Managing case files efficiently, meeting deadlines, adhering to precedents, and drafting documents using the case management system.
  • Assisting clients with public funding applications.
  • Organising, sorting, and indexing large volumes of documents.
  • Liaising with local authorities, housing associations, and medical professionals to request and process necessary documentation.
  • Preparing hearing bundles.
  • Attending and taking notes during internal and client meetings.
  • Undertaking ad hoc duties as needed.
The Ideal Candidate:
  • A strong commitment to supporting vulnerable clients.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong organisational skills and the capacity to thrive under pressure.
  • A completed law degree or GDL. Candidates who have completed the LPC or are pursuing/considering the SQE are encouraged to apply.
  • A demonstrated interest in social justice through work or community involvement.
