Casualty Solicitor
Birmingham – £41,000 - £45,000
My client is a top 50 UK Law firm and they are looking to bring in a NQ – 2 years PQE Solicitor to join their Casualty department in Birmingham.The role will be managing and assisting on a caseload of pre litigated and litigated claims that will include including Highways Law, Occupiers Liability Employers Liability, and Housing disrepair. You will also have the opportunity to get involved in other areas such as data breach ad human rights.
Salary will be £45,000 DOE as well as a generous bonus scheme, flexible and hybrid working is also offered. Benefits include but are not limited to 28 days annual leave plus bank holidays, healthcare cover, 4x salary life insurance, dental plan, maternity/paternity pay and many others.

What’s one goal you’re working towards this year?
Professionally I am working toward Senior Consultant, pretty close now will have that in the bag by the end of the year. Personally I am looking to move house, need something a bit bigger and something with a garage so I can tinker.
What’s your favourite way to unwind after a busy day?
Don't get much chance to unwind with a 2-year-old, my unwinding is the tram journey home. I do love coming home and spending quality time with my family though, nothing beats that.
If you weren’t in recruitment, what would you be doing?
Well my degree is in in microbiology focused heavily on soil so probably that. Glad I'm not though I don't think I would be able to handle all that excitement...
