Legal Director

London – £100,000 - £150,000

Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you will lead legal support for mergers and acquisitions (M&A), corporate governance, commercial contracts, and dispute resolution. You will also provide legal guidance on new acquisitions and investments, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic goals. Additionally, you will draft board materials and collaborate with cross-functional teams and external advisors on key projects. A key part of the role is negotiating and drafting complex commercial agreements, ensuring they meet business objectives. You will also advise on regulatory compliance, risk management, and dispute resolution, offering practical legal solutions in a commercial context.

Key Requirements:
The ideal candidate will be a qualified Solicitor in England and Wales, with 10-15 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in any consumer business industry. You should have strong in-house experience, particularly in corporate law, including M&A, joint ventures, and restructurings. Expertise in negotiating complex agreements and resolving disputes is essential. You must demonstrate business-focused legal judgment and possess excellent communication skills. Experience working in a multicultural, global environment will be beneficial.
