Are you passionate about helping businesses navigate the complexities of employment law? We're looking for an Employment Lawyer to join our clients team, where you'll provide expert advice on a wide range of workplace issues and support clients at every stage of their journey.The role:
- Work closely with clients to draft and review employment contracts, policies, and procedures tailored to their needs.
- Offer practical advice on workplace disputes, employee relations, and HR issues.
- Support businesses through tricky situations like reorganisations, redundancies, and compliance challenges.
- Help companies manage employment law issues during mergers, acquisitions, and sales, ensuring they meet all legal requirements while protecting their interests.
- Solid experience in employment law with a track record of handling a variety of workplace issues.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills—you’ll need to explain complex legal concepts in a way that makes sense to clients.
- A proactive, hands-on approach to helping businesses navigate their challenges.
What were you doing before you joined Douglas Scott Legal Recruitment?
I was working in Business Protection Insurance for a Manchester based leading insurance firm.
What are you most looking forward to in your new role?
I am most looking forward to a change of scenery and dealing with candidates and clients of different levels to help make a difference in their career paths whilst developing my own in a new sector.

I'd love to say I'd be travelling if I wasn't doing recruitment!
