Salary - up to £100K plus very generous bonus
Location - Luton
Working Pattern – 3 Days in the office
Hours – Full Time Permanent
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an 8+ PWE UK qualified Solicitor with a Corporate/Commercial law background to join a growing In-House legal team.
Candidate profile -
- Support Head of Legal on the day to day running of the Legal team, providing tailored advice to business functions including Operations, Facilities, Strategy.
- You'll play a key role in significant M&A work across the Group, so demonstrable experience of acting as the lead contact on corporate transactions is essential.
- High value contract negotiation up to £1billion.
- Act as part of business wider project teams to ensure the Groups supply chain is robust and delivering value.
- Provide support to senior stakeholders across the Group, ensuring decision making is made in a commercial fashion.
- Support junior team members.
Role Requirements:
- Minimum 8+ PQE in Corporate/Commercial Law,
- In-House experience from a previous role or on secondment,
- Finance experience would be desirable,
- Experience of working closely with C-suite stakeholders is essential.
If you weren’t in recruitment, what would you be doing?
I'd have loved to pursue a career in design and use some of the skills I built up from my design degree as well as a recently completed diploma in interior design.
What inspired you to pursue a career in legal recruitment?
Being married to a corporate lawyer is coming into use, I'm used to most of the terminology that's required when working in legal recruitment. Having previously worked in sales management I'm confident building a relationship with clients which will help them in their career journeys.
Tell us something that people might not know about you.
Having grown up in Wales until I was seven, I still speak Welsh almost fluently. It’s not a skill I use very often, but I love visiting my homeland whenever possible.
