Senior Trade Mark Associate

London – £130,000 - £150,000

Are you a seasoned Trademark Attorney or qualified solicitor with 6+ years’ experience in trade mark portfolio management? A leading international law firm, renowned for its expertise in the technology and life sciences sectors, is seeking a dynamic professional to join their Brands, Design & Copyright team.

You’ll work with a collaborative and highly skilled team on a diverse portfolio of clients, including global household names and cutting-edge innovators. This role offers a balance of contentious and non-contentious trade mark work, providing you the opportunity to influence brand strategies for some of the world’s most recognized companies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handle trade mark and design portfolios for UK, EU, and international clients.
  • Guide clients on brand clearance, protection, and maintenance.
  • Manage and conduct Registry actions at the UK and EU IPOs, and oversee international disputes.
  • Negotiate and draft coexistence and settlement agreements.
  • Mentor and supervise trade mark paralegals and junior team members.
About You
  • A qualified solicitor or trade mark attorney with 6+ years’ experience in trade marks.
  • A team player with excellent leadership and organizational skills.
  • Detail-oriented, with a genuine enthusiasm for IP law and brand management.
