About the Role
The firm have an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Court of Protection Solicitor or Legal Executive who is experienced in working with deputyships (property & financial affairs) and personal injury trusts, for clients with high value compensation and damages awards.
You will be supporting the professional Deputy/Trustee working within the Court of Protection (finance) team.
The successful candidate must be a qualified solicitor or CILEX with 2-5 years PQE and previous, knowledgeable experience working in the Personal Injury and Court of Protection field, managing their own full and high-valued caseload.

What were you doing before you joined Douglas Scott Legal Recruitment?
I just completed my law degree at Edge Hill University and was working in the sales department of a call center in the energy sector.

If you weren’t in recruitment what would you be doing?
I would most likely be pursuing my law degree down the more traditional route of further study with an LPC and becoming a solicitor.
Tell us something that people might not know about you?
I love true crime documentaries and it scares my boyfriend to no end how calm I am when I watch them! I suppose that is where the love of the legal industry comes from.
