RTA Litigator
Greater Manchester – £30,000 - £35,000
The firm are hiring for a fantastic opportunity for an experienced RTA mitigator to join their rapidly growing firm due to continued success and a developing degree of work coming into the firm.The successful candidate will join their RTA department and will deal with a quality caseload of heavily litigated files.
The successful candidate will have the following knowledge and experience –
• Solicitor / Fee Earner with at least 2 years PQE/RTA experience
• Extensive knowledge of RTA work and be able to run claims from inception to Trial
• Experience of handling claims arising from RTA Accidents
• Excellent client care
• Good IT skills / confidence in using a case management system (Proclaim experience preferable but not essential)
• Excellent oral and written communication skills

What were you doing before you joined Douglas Scott Legal Recruitment?
I just completed my law degree at Edge Hill University and was working in the sales department of a call center in the energy sector.
What are you most looking forward to in your new role?
I am most looking forward to a new opportunity and adventure, hitting the ground running in a new career and the opportunities to progress up the ladder with Douglas Scott. I also love the idea of helping people discover new opportunities for themselves in their careers.
If you weren’t in recruitment what would you be doing?
I would most likely be pursuing my law degree down the more traditional route of further study with an LPC and becoming a solicitor.
Tell us something that people might not know about you?
I love true crime documentaries and it scares my boyfriend to no end how calm I am when I watch them! I suppose that is where the love of the legal industry comes from.
