Housing Management Associate

Birmingham – £60,000 - £75,000

My client is a national top tier law firm, and they are looking to recruit a Housing Management Associate to join their growing team in Birmingham.

The role is handling a caseload of property litigation file including possession claims, injunction claims, cases involving the Equality Act 2010 and the Mental Capacity Act 2005, breach of tenancy claims to name a few.

The ideal candidate will be 4 years + PQE with previous property litigation experience. Salary will be DOE but they are paying very well and offer some of the highest salaries in the market. To give you an idea NQs are joining this department on £56,000 and experienced associates are on mid 70s. They also have a great benefits package including enhanced maternity/paternity, healthcare, bonus scheme, 25 days AL with the option to buy more, generous pension scheme and many more.

There is an emphasis on career development, you will be given encouragement and support from the Partner to ensure you get to where you want to be. You will get a good level of client contact and early responsibility. Client contact is more important than office presence so very flexible with their WFH policy, you just come in as and when.

If you would like to discuss the role in more detail, please get in touch.

What’s one goal you’re working towards this year?

Professionally I am working toward Senior Consultant, pretty close now will have that in the bag by the end of the year. Personally I am looking to move house, need something a bit bigger and something with a garage so I can tinker.

What’s your favourite way to unwind after a busy day?

Don't get much chance to unwind with a 2-year-old, my unwinding is the tram journey home. I do love coming home and spending quality time with my family though, nothing beats that.

If you weren’t in recruitment, what would you be doing?

Well my degree is in in microbiology focused heavily on soil so probably that. Glad I'm not though I don't think I would be able to handle all that excitement...
