Clinical Negligence Associate
Birmingham – £45,750 - £55,000
My client is a top tier UK law firm, and they are looking to bring in a Clinical Negligence Associate for their Birmingham office.The role has come about due to recent, continued growth and you will predominantly be acting for NHSR and private providers. You will be handling your own caseload of fast track and multi-track matters, as well as assisting Partners on their high value caseload well into the millions.
You will also have the opportunity to specialise in a specific area of Clinical Negligence. For example, if you have a particular interest in birth injury you will be encouraged to pursue this area and work alongside other specialist lawyers learning from their experience.
The ideal candidate will be NQ – 4 years PQE with previous clinical negligence experience. Salary will be DOE with NQ Solicitors join on £45,750, at 4 years will be around mid 50s. WFH pattern is 2 days in the office and 3 days WFH (attending court will be a day in the office).

What’s one goal you’re working towards this year?
Professionally I am working toward Senior Consultant, pretty close now will have that in the bag by the end of the year. Personally I am looking to move house, need something a bit bigger and something with a garage so I can tinker.
What’s your favourite way to unwind after a busy day?
Don't get much chance to unwind with a 2-year-old, my unwinding is the tram journey home. I do love coming home and spending quality time with my family though, nothing beats that.
If you weren’t in recruitment, what would you be doing?
Well my degree is in in microbiology focused heavily on soil so probably that. Glad I'm not though I don't think I would be able to handle all that excitement...
