Community Care Solicitor (NQ – 8 PQE)Location: Reading

We are seeking a Community Care Solicitor (NQ to 8 years PQE) to join a well-established team in Reading. You will handle a wide range of community care cases, including social care assessments, NHS Continuing Healthcare, and Court of Protection matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advise on social care, healthcare disputes, and safeguarding issues.
- Represent clients in Court of Protection welfare cases.
- Provide legal support to vulnerable clients and their families.
- NQ – 8 years PQE in community care, public law, or Court of Protection work.
- Strong advocacy and client care skills.
Francesca began working for Douglas Scott in 2017, joining the National Insurance team. Her role involves placing Paralegals and Solicitors into claimant and defendant Personal Injury law firms in the London area and her clients range from sole-practitioners to international Law Firms. Francesca previously worked for an insurance company as a part of the Expert Liaison team, and so, has previous knowledge within the Clinical Negligence and Personal Injury market. She graduated from the University of Lancashire after completing a Primary School Teaching degree, prior to that gaining A-Levels in Business Studies, English and Religious Studies.
