Greater London – £160,000

A leading US law firm is seeking a highly motivated Structured Credit Associate with 3-8 years PQE to join their dynamic team in the London office. This is an exceptional opportunity to work with a globally recognized practice that advises investment banks, hedge funds, and other financial institutions on a wide range of derivatives and structured products.

Responsibilities:
  • Advise on a broad spectrum of asset classes including credit, equities, commodities, indices, FX, and rates.
  • Engage in asset-based finance transactions and risk transfer transactions, including margin lending, receivables finance, fund finance, and back-leverage structures.
  • Handle complex risk transfer transactions, including credit derivatives, risk participation agreements, and capital relief trades.
  • Provide counsel on regulatory impacts affecting derivatives and structured products.
  • Collaborate with a global team of market-leading lawyers across the U.S., Europe, and Asia to deliver innovative solutions and close sophisticated transactions.
Qualifications:
  • 3+ Years PQE with a strong academic record.
  • Experience in structured credit, asset securitization, and derivatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle complex transactions and provide strategic advice to top-tier clients.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Those with both UK & US legal qualifications are encouraged to apply.
The expected salary range for this role is £240,000 - £310,000, commensurate with level of experience.
