Yorkshire Legal Awards

Last Thursday saw a contingent of Douglas Scott head over the M62 to enjoy a fantastic evening at the Yorkshire Legal Awards. We will be posting pictures from the night in due course but in the meantime, we managed to secure some quotes and commentary from the night.

• The President’s Award was won by Matthew Wrigley of Wrigley Solicitors who said that winning the Award was a "big surprise"
• The Award for Dispute Resolution was won by Switalskis Solicitors. David Greenwood from the firm said they were  "really proud to win considering the calibre of the other nominees"
• Niche Law Firm of the Year was won by Unity Law. They said "it's recognition for all the hard work put in over the last four years and we are delighted to win it for the second year running"
• Finally, Family Practice of the Year was won by Lake Legal who said "this is reflective of the team’s hard work as a whole"

Well done to everyone who was nominated and also the winners on the night. We all had a great time - we hope you did too - we look forward to seeing you all again next year.
