The Law Gazette ran an article today about Regional firms ‘bouncing back’ with their profits improving.
But increased profits, in some instances, are hiding the fact that career prospects for senior team members are becoming increasingly limited. Instead, the Regionals are recruiting more at the junior level and investing in their IT infrastructure and business premises.
Kathryn commented that because opportunities currently in the market place for senior Lawyers are less prevalent, Regionals are no longer promising Partnership but instead ‘golden handshakes’ to attract the very best of talent. Click here for the full article.
