It goes without saying that if you are loving your work you are less likely to be looking to change jobs and the data from our 2024 Salary and Benefits Survey backs it up. This year 25% of the legal talent pool is actively looking to change jobs, slightly up on 2023. 50% of that active element of the talent pool is made up of legal professionals who are not happy in their work, 24% who are lovin’ their work and the remaining 26% is formed from lawyers who are neither happy or unhappy in their roles.
