Most of our audience is UK based, but we are regularly read in the USA, UAE, Spain and Australia. We even had an 'open' in Peru! With the holiday season upon us it will be interesting to see which beaches we make our way to with our August issue; in fact, we will report on that in Septembers and may even get a "Wish you were there?" poll on our website. Prize to whoever opens AtF at the favourite holiday destination???
The Douglas Scott website www.douglas-scott.co.uk is one of our main channels of communication to our stakeholders. We had nearly 30,000 visitors in the first six months of this year which we think is good but best viewed in the context that we posted an 89.61% increase against the same period last year!
The majority of our visitors are candidates but we also see a large number of business owners, decision makers and of course rival agencies landing on our pages. There is something for everyone with all the latest jobs, news, blogs, contact details and Consultant profiles featured.
Lately, we have given our Consultants' business cards a bit of a twist! Next time you meet one of us, make sure you get a card; flip it over and you will find a QR (quick response) code. Scan the code with your smart phone and you will be directed straight through to their profile page on our website. We think it gives an extra dimension to the card.
Last but not least is Social Media. We are not mad Tweeters; we know people are busy. So we have a Job of the Day and will tweet occasional quality news items. Follow us here, you can find jobs and news on our Facebook page and with over 3,500 connections on Linked In, our Consultants are some of best connected and networked in the business!
So that's what we are doing now but we are an innovative bunch so stay tuned in for even more exciting developments over the coming months!
