The Opportunity
A leading UK law firm is seeking a Housing Management & Property Litigation Lawyer (5+ years PQE) to join their London team. Known for their expertise in social housing law, the firm advises Registered Providers (RPs), local authorities, and private landlords. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a top-tier firm in a key role, managing a variety of housing and leasehold management and property litigation cases.
Key Responsibilities
- Caseload Management: Handle a diverse caseload including injunctions, possession claims, disrepair, service charge disputes, and FTT cases.
- Client Interaction: Manage client expectations, handle inquiries, and maintain strong client relationships.
- Case Support: Collaborate with partners on complex cases and support junior staff.
- Business Development: Participate in marketing and client training activities.
- Experience: 5+ years PQE in housing, leasehold management, or property litigation.
- Skills: Strong case management, excellent communication, and attention to detail.
- Tech Proficiency: Competent in Word, Excel, and relevant case management tools.

Francesca began working for Douglas Scott in 2017, joining the National Insurance team. Her role involves placing Paralegals and Solicitors into claimant and defendant Personal Injury law firms in the London area and her clients range from sole-practitioners to international Law Firms. Francesca previously worked for an insurance company as a part of the Expert Liaison team, and so, has previous knowledge within the Clinical Negligence and Personal Injury market. She graduated from the University of Lancashire after completing a Primary School Teaching degree, prior to that gaining A-Levels in Business Studies, English and Religious Studies.
