A leading law firm based in Manchester is seeking a Legal Cashier to join them within their award winning firm based in Manchester City Centre.
The Legal Cashier role is part time and will be to work along side another cashier who is part time handling the firms accounts. The client is looking for someone who can work 4 afternoons a week, prefably 1:00 - 5:00 pm but all shifts will be considered.
The main duties will be to deal with : -
* Purchase ledgers
* Sales ledgers
* Bank reconciliation
* Processing cheques/ bacs payments
* Banking cheques
* Vat Returns
* Credit Control
* Creating Invoices
* On-line banking
* Petty Cash
* Month-end procedures
* Preparation of in-house management reports
* Preparation of marketing reports for external companies
* Monthly management reports
* Knowledge of SRA rules
To be considered for this position it is important that you have a years' experience as a legal cashier or accounts assistant in a LAW FIRM. It would also be beneficial if you have experience with proclaim accounts. The client is looking for a confident candidate who can hit the ground running.
