At Douglas Scott, our aim when working with clients is to act as an extension to their own internal recruitment process, which every organisation will undoubtedly have. Your reason in coming to us with a particular assignment is for advice and assistance on recruiting the best candidates for your role, someone who can make an immediate impact on the business. Ultimately however the final decision rests with you; therefore it serves us no purpose to try and dictate your processes to you, to have a number of candidates interview with you and progress through the process, only to come out with no offer.

How we avoid this is by firstly gaining a thorough understanding of your individual requirements at the very outset of any relationship. With this information we can then agree on how we can add value to that process and work with you in a consultative as opposed to a dictatorial manner. We do not have a standard way of working with every client; we like to look at each assignment individually and develop a specific way of working with you as an individual client. This has been the bedrock of our success to date, and we see no reason to deviate from this methodology in the future. Judging by our testimonials, our clients all tend to agree.
